Do you know why I have a minimum spend? 🫶🏼

To make your bouquet, I only use the highest quality blooms available - also making them the most expensive. Your bouquet is photographed with you more than any other part of your flowers, and any bruised flowers, small blooms or discolouration will be visible. To combat this I buy the best blooms! 🌸

Variety of flowers is also another big reason for the minimum spend. Flowers come in bunches of 10, 20 or even 50 stems, and sometimes all we need to use is 5 or 6 stems. You need focal flowers - think peonies, roses. Line flowers - delphs, campanula. Secondary blooms - spray roses, lisianthus. Fillers - daisy’s, Waxflower. That’s a lot of flowers to buy for your bouquet!

So I keep my minimum spend so I can guarantee that the flowers I create are high quality, thoughtfully designed and exactly what you were looking for! ✨🫶🏼

The week of your wedding 🫶🏼

So much goes on behind the scenes as a florist. Working with perishable produce makes the time we get to create our magic so short. Luckily a time crunch has always been when I do my best work! 😅

Sunday - clean buckets and fill with water & flower food
Monday - unload delivery and condition flowers
Tuesday - finish conditioning roses, pick up second order from wholesaler
Wednesday - start greening up larger pieces
Thursday - make bouquets, buttonholes, crowns, wands and corsages, flower up some of the greenery pieces from Wednesday
Friday - arrive at venue, build arch and attach arrangements, set out all other pieces and deliver personal flowers, then finish flowering the arch. Wait until ceremony is over to then repurpose arch and ceremony flowers to the reception.
Saturday - return to venue to take down flowers and arch, give any florals wanted to the couple or guests and take back any that aren’t needed.
